As an orthopedagogue in youth care, I first encountered yoga when my clients in the treatment group were taking yoga classes. Driven by curiosity, I decided to join in – and from the first moment on the mat, a world of inner discovery opened up for me. As someone who had a turbulent youth, yoga taught me something I hadn't known before: to pause, truly feel, and be completely present, both in body and mind. Always interested in philosophy, I quickly found a deep connection with yoga philosophy. This led me to my first yoga teacher training, primarily to deepen my own knowledge and experience.
Without ever having the intention to teach, I discovered a growing desire to share this practice during my journey. After two teacher trainings and many years of personal practice, I now teach yoga with great satisfaction alongside my work in youth care.
In my classes, it's not about perfection, and I don't believe yoga can be done 'right' or 'wrong'. On the internet, you often see images of people performing impressive poses, but for me, yoga isn't about that. Yoga isn't a competition or an end goal; it's about coming for yourself, with attention and space for what you need. I'm here to guide and support you, but ultimately, you determine what you want to get out of the class.
My core values are learning to listen to your body, enjoying what you do, and being present with loving attention. For me, yoga means time for self-care and inner growth, and I want to provide that space for everyone who attends my classes.
